What You Need to Know
The Santiam Teen Center is a free, safe place for teens to connect, grow, and be supported. We’re excited to welcome your family into our community.
To help us care for your teen well, we require a completed Teen Registration Form each year. This form gives us essential information and permission we may need if a situation arises while your teen is with us. Having this information on file helps us keep every teen safe and supported.
A complete registration form is required before your teen can attend STC. If a teen arrives without a form, they may attend once as long as we can reach a guardian for emergency contact information. After that first visit, the registration form must be completed before they return.
Registrations must be renewed each school year. If a teen does not have an updated form on file, they will not be able to participate in our program until it is completed.

What to Expect After Registering
- Your teen can start attending immediately.
- No wait time or approval
- Teens are required to sign all STC policy forms
- (including in the registration packet) if they wish to participate in the program. Teens are not required to sign if they do not agree, but they must sign to be part of the program.
- Staff will review the form
- Please note, we may reach out if we need clarification
- We’ll use your communication preferences
- Registration stays activities for the entire school year

Safety and Support
- Pick Up Expectations
- Our program ends at 6p, and teens need to be picked up or leave at that time. If you’re running late, please contact your teen or us as soon as possible
- Respecting Volunteer Time
- STC is volunteer supported. Prompt pick up helps us honor their time and keep our program running smoothly
- Supervision
- At least two adults are always on site whenever a teen is inside the building. Teens are supervised by trained adults and our facility is equipped with cameras for added safety
- Teens May Leave When They Choose
- STC is a drop in program, and teens are free to come and go. Guardians are responsible for their teens’ transportation and for knowing when their teen leaves the center.
